The role

Do you enjoy working with your hands and ensuring that everything on the construction site has power? As an electrician, you’ll be responsible for various electrical tasks at our client’s construction site.

Your daily tasks will include managing, inspecting, and maintaining temporary electrical systems. You’ll also assess malfunctions and ensure they’re resolved as quickly as possible. As you gain more experience, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for the power supply at the construction site.

What will your duties include as an electrician?

• Daily inspection and maintenance of temporary power systems, and replacement of cables, plugs, and (construction site) lighting as needed;
• Managing and organizing utility boxes, distribution panels, lighting, and power outlets;
• Troubleshoot simple electrical malfunctions, identify unsafe situations, and immediately repair or report them;
• Install, modify, and relocate temporary power systems and ensure safe cable management;
• Consult with site supervisors when systems need to be adjusted and record the work performed in the system

Who are we looking for?

• You have a degree in electrical engineering or relevant work experience, and preferably knowledge of NEN 3140;
• You can independently assess malfunctions and take responsibility for the power supply at the construction site, which means you can adapt quickly when circumstances change;
• You prioritize workplace safety and hold a VCA certificate;
• You have strong communication skills, speak Dutch or English, and collaborate well with colleagues;
• Physical work is no problem for you, and you’re eager to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

• A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month on a full-time basis, depending on your knowledge and experience;
