Do you have experience with basic tasks as a carpenter, painter, production worker, electrician, or are you just handy from all the DIY projects you've done at home? For our client in Hulst, we are looking for a unit construction assistant.

As a construction assistant, you will perform various tasks in the workshop of our client, such as painting, carpentry, and assembly work. It's possible to learn all these tasks on the job. There is a large workshop with many units set up. You often work in pairs and are given a task to complete. Consideration is given to what you enjoy, what experience you have, and what knowledge you possess so that you are placed in the right position.

Tasks that need to be done on units include:

• Painting both the interior and exterior;
• Laying flooring;
• Hanging doors;
• Installing window frames;
• Placing windows in frames;
• Installing partitions by mounting plywood panels;
• Laying roofing materials;
• Inspecting existing roofing to prevent leaks;
• Preparing work for lighting installation;
• Pulling wires for electrical work;
• Installing pipes for heating and/or sanitary facilities (toilet, sink, shower).

Requirements

• Is eager to learn and willing to work;
• Has (basic) experience with the tasks mentioned above (this can also be in your free time);
• Has a VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one through HR Zeeland.

As an all-round construction worker, you will work full-time during the day from Monday to Friday.
